For many years, we have been providing consulting services for the most demanding Clients and on the most difficult construction projects. A few years ago, we were asked to prepare a detailed plan of preliminary field and laboratory tests for the project of the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station located on King George Island in Antarctica.
Geotest shared its 25 years of experience in geotechnical tests in the most challenging projects. Following consultations with facility’s designers, it proposed a number of solutions that, even with a limited budget, could produce data relevant to the design process in these weather-challenged and geologically unexplored ground conditions.
“During the implementation of the project for the new main building of the H. Arctowski Antarctic Station, we consulted Geotest on the issue of foundation and performance of necessary geological tests. As a result of the analyses, we selected the optimal solution for this unique project.”
