About the construction
It is a modern complex located on a plot of nearly 5 ha in the centre of Warsaw between Grzybowska, Wronia, Chłodna and Krochmalna streets. Echo Investment, in collaboration with JEMS Architekci, has created a multifunctional new part of the city by revitalising historic buildings of former breweries.
Client benefits
Obtaining the data necessary to design foundations of structures and to revitalise buildings and historic underground structures. The tests led to determination of geotechnical parameters which reduced the cost of foundation work.
Due to precise soil and groundwater contamination tests, a very challenging project on a brownfield site was carried out without any problems.

The key to the success of this project was to design and carry out the soil tests in such a way, so that the existing historical buildings and underground infrastructure were taken into account. The complexity of the project was additionally influenced by the necessary arrangements with the Conservator of Monuments and the Office of Environmental Protection.
