Determination of geotechnical conditions for the foundation of buildings - for designers

The training covers how to determine geotechnical categories and water and soil conditions. The lack of good knowledge in this field often means that the submitted documentation does not take into account all the requirements resulting from the Regulation of the Minister of Transport, Construction and Water Management of 25 April 2012, which in turn leads to the suspension of the building permit.

The sozological examination and the regulations of the Minister of the Environment of 2016: theory and practice

The lecture, in which we present the principles of conducting soil sociological studies (contamination studies), resulting from the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment on the method of assessing the contamination of the land surface, implemented in September 2016, is of great interest. We will share the experience we have gained in preparing more than 1000 studies on the state of the soil environment.

Protecting buildings from groundwater

The presentation will cover solutions adapted to different types of water and soil conditions. The presentation will answer questions such as: Do you need to protect the underground part of the building from groundwater if there is sand in the ground and the groundwater is deep? What type of soil should you use to backfill excavations? When is drainage allowed and when should it be used.
