This historic plating factory located between Prosta, Żelazna and Łucka streets has been revitalized and expanded, thus becoming a new place for meetings and cultural events combined with office space in the center of Warsaw. The investor of the project was the Capital Park Group, the project was handled by architects from the PRC studio, and the contractors were Warbud and Soletanche.
The undertaken geological tests and consultations made it possible to move the 900-ton historic building, which allowed the construction of a three-story underground part of the investment. The excavation surrounded by diaphragm walls was made using the ceiling method. After creating a reinforced concrete ceiling supported by barrels, the building returned to its place.
